- The report, sponsored by Databricks, was conducted between June and August 2023, involving a global survey of 600 senior technology executives from 12 countries in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East.
- The majority of respondents were C-level executives, with the balance consisting of SVPs, VPs, and heads of IT, AI, data, engineering, and similar roles.
- The eight industries represented are Retail & CPG, Media & Entertainment, Telecommunications, Health care & life sciences, Financial services, Energy, Manufacturing, and Government & Public Sector.
- The report finds that organizations are focused on retooling for a data and AI-driven future, focusing on everything from data architecture to AI-enabled automation.
- The pressure to democratize the power of data and AI creates renewed opportunities for growth and efficiency.
